Dr Michael Sciriha qualified in Economics with Honours and obtained a Masters degree in 1978. He subsequently obtained a Doctorate of Laws (LLD) in 1984 presenting a thesis entitled “Insurance and Cargo Claims”. He served as Legal Advisor to the Registrar of Courts and his responsibilities included the judicial sale of vessels by auction.
